offices in Quincy, Marshfield and Duxbury, has recently graduated from the 2006
Massachusetts Association of Realtors (MAR) Leadership Academy.
At an event held at Fenway Park, graduation ceremonies took place in front of a
delegation of over 200 officers, directors, and association executives. One of only
eleven Realtors selected for their outstanding leadership abilities, Magown was
chosen as spokesperson for her graduating class. "We thank MAR for embracing the
importance of leadership development and training, and for dedicating the resources
for this great program. Each one of us returns to our region of Massachusetts with
further commitment and dedication to this powerful economic engine, the real estate
industry".
The MAR Leadership Academy was designed as a comprehensive program to develop
leadership within the organization and associations throughout Massachusetts. The
year long program of study combines individual study, group sessions, lectures from
nationally respected industry leaders, together with an in depth analysis of
personal leadership skill development and goal setting.
Organized in 1924, the Massachusetts Association of Realtors is the state's largest
professional trade organization with more than 24,000 members.
